I should know for everyone 6 hours sleep is very helpful. For children 10-12 hours is better. More sleep can causes more problems in your life as possible.

Diabetes being a condition and not a disease it cannot be treated ( as of now ). There are many things that contribute to a person being diabetic. This finding is both surprising and shocking as most people associate diabetics with lazy people as mostly it is the obese who are the initial victims of this condition. A good 6 - 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep is necessary for everyone but in today's high stressed and fast moving life very few can afford this luxury.

Omg.Too horrible..I know previous studies have demonstrated that reduced sleep quantity can impair glucose metabolism and appetite regulation resulting in increased risk of obesity and diabetes. But how reasonable time for sleep?

Good 8-12 hours of sleep is required not just to prevent diabetes but also various lifestyle diseases.
Proper sleep is a must for every person in any age-group.
