After being diagnosed with type2 almost four years ago, I have taken control of my health by first losing 35 pounds and been off medication since then. I have done extensive research, and have grown passionate about helping others to take charge of their health also. I am from Hawaii and diabetes is a constant topic within family discussions because of its popularity among pacific islanders. There is a new project that has been started here in Hawaii that has been helping tremendous amounts of people for example my aunt who just started on the project for 3 months now. Prior to starting the project her blood sugar count was 519 and she had to inject herself with 5 shots of insulin a day . After being on the project for 2 1/2 months she was able to drop her sugar count to a consistent 104-111 and best of all, her doctor took her off of her insulin . I know that they want to help everyone who is willing to learn more and that are looking for help. If you know anyone that they can help I can get you the information to share with them. My mother was recently diagnosed with diabetes and a liver disease at the same time. She was also struggling with high cholesterol. She started taking a supplement that my brother-in-law introduced to her and after just over 8 weeks her labs dramatically improved! Her A1C went from a 8.1% to a 6.4%, her liver enzymes went to almost completely normal (& she'd been told they would only get worse), and her cholesterol improved dramatically & she lost 14 lbs! She's eating chocolate! NOT just any chocolate, a specially processed chocolate that's diabetic friendly!
