Diabetes is an affliction that has half of my father's side in it's grip. With the introduction of an insulin regimen (Type-1) and medication (Type-2), it is one that can be controlled for the most part. Because the aforementioned course of treatment is proven, it doesn't mean that other forms of treatment can be completely discounted. Of the treatments that are listed in this post, the ones that I know were tried include the bitter melon. This particular treatment actually smooths out situation where one may get into diabetic shock. It's almost like the buffer between regular glucose levels and dropping below 60. Why this happens is one that can only be answered as a sign of faith, but it's the effect that people like my uncle swears by. I know that my aunt has a constant supply of milk thistle and takes it daily with her other medicine (she's Type-2). Unfortunately, I don't know too much about how the other items mentioned here work from those in my family and inner circle, but I have heard of Gymnema Sylvestre and how it helps those with Type-2. I wouldn't recommend it as a replacement for insulin treatment for those with Type-1 unless you have complete faith in it. The way I see it, however, is that one should always have a back-up in case the primary course of action to control such an affliction fails. In this sense, the gymnema would be the back up, but not combined with insulin therapy.

I am very happy and excited about reading your article because many of the herbs you recommend are in the herbal formulation I’m taking! I had been on several various medications for diabetes. Still, my blood sugar level was always over 200, and I was going crazy because the doctor said I was facing having to go on insulin. I even saw an endocrinologist, who just put me on a whole bunch of other pills. This was all very discouraging. But then I read about herbal remedies for diabetes and really took it seriously. , and even though I've only been on a good herbal supplement (called Sugar Metabolic Enhancement Formula by Baseline of Health nutritionals) for ten days, my blood sugar hasn't risen above 150!

You are correct as to control diabetes aggressive treatment is necessary but at the same time if we are looking forward for Natural Diabetes Management</a> than it would help a lot for the diabetes peoples and we have to focus mainly on our diet and no one should cheat his own life by taking any kind of food.
